Sparkles the Narwhal

Sparkles is a character developed by myself and the Squishable art department to be the feature of our blind box project. I headed the process for creating this line - developing design drawings and construction specifications, designing and print-setting the mechanicals for both the single item box and full carton, and creating promotional graphics and videos for its release. I also helped create images used on the Squishable site for both series that we produced.
🍩 Series 1: Snacks
Sparkles was a unique opportunity to add characterization and small stories around a Squishable character. Leading up to (and after) their release, the art team made comics and small illustrations to help promote the new line, which were used as ads.They were also translated into sticker packs.
Releases of both Series 1 and 2 were received very well, and both runs completely sold out.
